Dapit Hapon theme

    Howdy, 1st post ??

    I got a question about the Dapit Hapon theme.. When I post a picture in the post, it does not show up unless you click the header. I know this is normal, not having any technical issues, but how do I make it so the picture shows up in the post on the front page? Hope this makes sense.

  • Are you displaying the entire post or the excerpt?

    Well I want to display the whole post, am I just missing a check box somewhere to display exerpt or whole post? If I switch to another theme it shows the entire post. I’m sure I’m just being a newbie ??

    To answer the question directly, it is showing the exerpt not the entire post

    If it’s showing just the excerpt and you have images and what not you want showing say floated in the excerpt on the main page I think you need to take the portion you want exceprted — everyting before the <!–more–> if you’re using that (the theme is set to force excerpts) — and paste it into the Optional Exceprts box. That’s what I do anyway.

    Ok, So I took out <?php the_excerpt(); ?> and added <?php the_content(); ?>, seemed to work just fine.
