Dangerous plugin >:(

  • Lost several usermeta fields for more than 400 customers when I made the desinstallation of this damned plugin !!!

    Warning : if you create some new points fields, don’t give them the same name as an existing custom field : the plugin is writing points fields into the table for usermeta, without giving them any prefix !

    Stupid bug that make me lost a lot of precious data !!!

    Hi @geve2009,

    Apologies to hear your experience with myCred but we have already mentioned this in our codex that if you will uninstall myCred then all the balances and points will be lost. So in order to preserve the data we have also given the codes to preserve the balances and log entries so that you don’t lose your data.

    Also note that without any prior talking with support team you just uninstalled on your own so how can you blame the plugin for the loss. Our plugin works with the standards of wordpress so it saves data inside user_meta table and it’s not from now it’s been 6 years since this plugin is working.

    We would have helped you here but you uninstalled and deleted the plugin so now there is nothing we can help you with atleast you should have read the codex first or you would have had the question in mind that if you would delete the plugin will the data remain.
