That’s an interesting point of view… What do you think is the difference between fewer releases with more changes, and more releases with fewer changes? Would you rather we wait weeks to release dozens of changes and bug fixes like most plugins? If you prefer to install updates only once a month or so, why don’t you do that?
Have you compared our Changelog with that of other plugins (that release new versions based on your preferred schedule)? You’ll notice that our updates have fewer changes. A lot fewer. If you read the Changelog, you will also taken note of our philosophy about changes:
New versions of the plugin are released approximately every week (more or less). New features are added, tested, and released incrementally, instead of grouping them together in a major version release. When minor bugs fixes and/or code improvements are applied, new versions are also released. This release schedule keeps the code stable and reliable, at the cost of more frequent updates.
