Daily RSS Based Campaign – First message empty

    Hi there, I have just started using this plugin, set up subscribers and a RSS daily based campaign to our blog. Currently testing.

    I am one of the subscribers (testers) to this, and today I have received the first message from Mailchimp, however the message was empty, apart from the template content.
    This may be correct from one point of view as no new post was created since the campaign start and the newsletter delivery, so I wonder if this is by design.

    I also wonder if this daily RSS campaign will keep on delivering every day a message to subscribers although there are no new contents. If so, is there a way to prevent this?

    Second day, daily RSS campaign, no new posts, email sent by Mailchimp, with no posts.
    There must be a way to stop sending emails if no new posts are present.
    BTW in the campaign settings it is stated that emails will be sent when new posts are present, but this doesn’t seem to be true: https://prntscr.com/ejqzsx

    Please note that the RSS to email campaign is a MailChimp feature and not controlled by our plugin. To get the best support related to the issue you are facing it would be better to contact MailChimp.com’s support.

    Thanks for clarifying, so when Mailchimp.com manages a campaign there’s no interaction at all with your plugin?

    Hey @blutarsky,

    Yes, that is correct. Once we add the subscriber, our plugin does not communicate with MailChimp other than for getting the subscriber count.
