Hi, using the Feed to Post plugin you can import all your feed items as posts, then use another plugin to send you an email with all the latest posts from your blog, which will include or be completely made up of the imported posts from WP RSS Aggregator.

If you have any further questions about any of our premium add-ons you can get in touch with us through the premium support right here.

    Thanks.

that’s if i publish the posts. The workflow in my mind is use WP RSS Aggregator to pull in topics, then before any publishing I want to get an email of imported topics. From there I would send to writers.

I’m wondering if WP RSS Aggregator can send an email of recently imported posts that are in draft status or any non public status. And can the Feed to Post plugin assign draft status or any other status?

Is this at all possible to receive a summary of imported topics and specifically those that go from feed to post?

For example, assume I have been importing feed items as posts earlier in the day. Everyday at noon I would like to receive a summary of imported topics (as posts).

Is this something WP RSS Aggregator can do?

Hi masterbassie, I’ve understood what you’re looking to do, however WP RSS Aggregator doesn’t have any function to email imported posts. As I mentioned earlier, you would need some other plugin to carry out this function.

Having said that, yes, with WP RSS Aggregator Feed to Post you can import posts as Drafts. If you’d like you can test out our Advanced Feeds Bundle using a free demo site.

Also, for questions regarding any of our premium add-ons please open a support ticket as this forum is aimed at the free core version of WP RSS Aggregator only.

    Thanks!
