%d displayed rather than a number

    Hi Josie,
    I have a checkbox field in the layout and set a limit of one box to be checked. It is Request For Comment field. When I have two images checked for comment, a message comes out, saying Only the max number of %d item can Request for Comment. I expect the figure 1 instead of %d. How can I fix this?

    I can’t find anything that says “Only the max number”.

    Could you please give me the exact text that you see in the error message? Copy-paste it if possible.

    Also, is your site in English only, or are you using some translation?

    Yes, I did some translation. Here is the message:
    [U003] 項目最多只能有 ％d 個Request Comment checked

    Part of the English version:
    No more than %d items may have

    It is almost certainly a problem somewhere in the handling of the translation — I’m afraid I know very little about it, and just tried to follow the rules.

    It looks as if the % sign inside the translated string is not being recognized as being the same character as the % sign on a western keyboard. ( I notice they look different above. ) Do you have any way to fix that in the translation? Perhaps copy-paste it from here: %

    Yeah the problem is with the % sign. I changed it and now displayed correctly. Thanks.
