    Hi Tomas!

    Thank you for reaching out.

Based on our observation, it seems that you chose to retain the CookieYes WordPress plugin settings when connecting it to your CookieYes web app account. Since Czech translations are not available in the WordPress plugin, the banner is unable to fetch the Czech language even after the connection.

To resolve this, please try the following steps:

    1. Disconnect the plugin from your CookieYes web app account.
    2. Reconnect it to your account.
    3. During the reconnection process, you will be prompted to choose one of the following options:
      1. Yes, Keep the current configuration in my web app account
      2. No, Replace my web app configuration with the plugin settings

Please select Option 1, as this will ensure that all available translations in the web app apply correctly to your website.

Let us know if you need further clarification, and feel free to update us here!

    Hi Tomas,

Could you confirm if you selected “Yes, Keep the current configuration in my web app account” when reconnecting the plugin to the web app? This option ensures that all available translations from the web app are applied correctly.

If the Czech language is still displaying in English while other languages work fine, please let us know any additional details about your setup here, and we’d be happy to assist you further here.

    Hi Tomas,

Thank you for your patience and for working with us through this!

After a thorough investigation, we identified that the issue was specific to the Czech language translation when the CookieYes plugin was connected to the web app. This was causing the banner content to display in English, even when Czech was selected.

We’re happy to confirm that this has now been resolved, and the correct Czech translation should load as expected.

If you’re still experiencing any issues, feel free to reply here with more details, we’ll be glad to help further.

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention!
