Czech Language Files (2.0.63) May Be Creating Issues

    Just an FYI as taken from the forums and our testing.

    If you are using the Czech language files with NextGEN Gallery and are experiencing issues such as not being able to save settings under Gallery > Other Options you may need to delete those files from the plugin.

    You will find them under the following folder in a default installation:
    ../wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/i18n/lang/

    Look for the files ending in cs_CZ.po and cs_CZ.mo … you can safely delete those.

    Please do not respond to this topic with any issues. If you are experiencing a related problem it would be very much appreciated if you started a new topic to address your concerns.

    Update: Please note, this translation issue may extend to other languages. We are currently reviewing this issue and will try to address it as soon as possible.

    If you are experiencing problem with saving the Other Options settings *and* you are using a translated version of NextGEN Gallery via translation files, you may be able to resolve the issue by removing the files as noted above with the Czech language files.

    If you are having any other issue, even if it has to do with saving Other Options please create a new topic.

    Update #2 … a temporary work-around …

    in ../products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_admin/templates/nextgen_admin_page.php edit line 25

    from this:
    <input type=”submit” name=’action_proxy’ value=”<?php _e(‘Save’, ‘nggallery’); ?>” class=”button-primary”/>

    to this:
    <input type=”submit” name=’action_proxy’ value=”Save” class=”button-primary”/>

    This means the “Save” will not be translated but for now it should work …
