Czech diacritics

  • seems that WP cannot handle them all
    ě does not show up at all, and if you try to use it while submitting a comment, you get an error stating something to do with the swedish language set? Bitchin for my friends that dont speak English, and dont know enough to not use diacritics….:{

  • If the blog is set correctly to utf-8 encoding… it should be able to handle any diacritics and any language.
    I cannot try to comment on the blog linked to your profile because I never register on a blog to comment! (not to mention just to test and help you…)

    There is no “swedich langauge set” – eventually, there might be the collation in the databse set to “latin1_swedish_ci”… but don’t worry about it. It is not something that you should touch ever!

    Give us an example where the correctly typed Czech characters don’t show up.
