Cyclone Slider 2 can't add slides

Hi all,
I’ve taken over the editing of a website, as an “inbetween” solution, since PHP/Websdesign isn’t my thing at all.
I don’t have a lot of problems, but I do have one with cyclone slider 2 version 2.12.0.
Once I try to add an image as slide for our homepage, I get this error message:

I have no idea what to do with this. I tried uploading the test image to the php directory but I have no idea where I should upload it.
Can anyone be so kind to help me or guide me in the right direction? Thank you so much in advance!
