I noticed that customers are not required to enter a CVC number, they can leave the field blank despite that the field shows an asterisk like it is a required field. How can I change the setting to require them to enter this field?

Sorry for the late reply… While this update does add and remove the * from the field it does not make the field required, I can still submit an order with the field blank.

Yes that is default credit card form behavior from woo commerce introduced in 2.1 later they removed it and added another way to add form fields

So are you saying that is all that can be done?

If that is the case can you make it show detailed decline messages? I want users to know why the card was declined.

    Thanks!

Yes that is all that can be done for now maybe we might add HTML 5 required field if needed to make CVC compulsory

And as far as i know i am already showing response received from authorize.net servers however i have no idea if its detailed or not

    Thanks

Ok, Thanks. For the detailed errors from authorize.net I am just seeing “This transaction has been declined.” not “The card verification number does not match.”

No, I see it in my authorize sandbox. I was hoping you could look into adding more detailed errors.

What there ever any resolution to this? I’m experiencing the same issue. Not sure how long it has been going on.
