When using Stipe checkout, customers are not able to input a new credit card to checkout – the credit card number field works properly, but then after inputting the number the expiration and CVC fields are supposed to become visible on the far right, they do not. This issue has occurred with multiple versions of Stripe Checkout through multiple wordpress, theme and plugin updates. When I have Stripe Checkout Version 8.0.1 installed, then I have no issues at all. So currently I am still running this version because every time I have tried to update to the latest customers are not able to check out.

  • Hey there, @theyogimatt! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

this issue has occurred with multiple versions of Stripe Checkout through multiple wordpress, theme and plugin updates.

When you tested with other themes, did you also tried it with all plugins deactivated but Woo and Stripe?

It seems you are using the legacy checkout, correct? Does the issue persists if you use the new checkout experience?

I suggest creating a staging site so you can have the current version which has the issue so we can take a look without affecting your live site. And it also helps with the testing.

You can ask your host if they offer this service, or you can use WP Staging for quickly spinning up a new test site.

If you are able to do it, please share the link here with us so we can take a look. It is best to have the staging site be on the Storefront theme and have only Woo and Stripe active, okay?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!
