• I inherited a wordpress site

    https://symmetry-us.com

It uses cutline. Everything is up to date. It has custom, hierarchical menus that I would like to edit. But this seems to me ‘not supported in this theme’ by the easy way.

Okay, so what is the harder way?

  • There’s no place to set menus in your Appearance > Menus page?

No. Let me see if I can attach a screenshot where it says that this theme does not support menus.

No images allowed here it seems.

Appearance > Menus takes me to a page, which says:

“The current theme does not natively support menus, but you can use the “Custom Menu” widget to add any menus you create here to the theme’s sidebar.”

I do not have any sidebar navigation active, so noodling with this has no apparent effect.

It is the black and white menus across the top I wish to modify.

    Thanks.

If that’s the case you will need to go to each individual page and place each page under a parent page (the pages you want in the navigation).

You can try this plugin to remove specific pages from the nav altogether

Okay, I am tube locked on this.

If anyone can email me directly, I can pay to accomplish this small task.

What I have is a functioning site with custom menus at:

    https://symmetry-us.com/

I know I edited the menus in the past.

Now what I want to do is two things:

    1) Add a new top-level menu “Journals” that links to

    https://symmetry-us.com/Journals

Which is a set of pages designed to emulate cutline

    2) Change the “Form of Logic” menu to “Kutachi” (and link to a kutachi project p[age.

    [ email redacted ]

    Thanks.

    I responded. Thanks.
