Cutenews import with other-ext wp/RSS conversion

I have a website to convert from cutenews to WordPress. I’ve read about a plugin called other-ext WP. I’ve installed it but the “path to cutenews” doesn’t seem to be working. Anyone ever tried using it? Or in alternative, how can I convert my news.txt into a RSS file?
