Custum Post page design (need help)

    I need your help and guidance to solve an urgent problem.

    Sine my client have no idea about using HTML so he requested to design a specific post page structure.

    Just like we add 1 featured image to any post or page, my client requests to have 4 featured images option. By default every post page should display its first featured image and below that a set of thumbnails for the remaining featured images if any. Perhaps an image would explain it properly https://www.mentorarts.com/post-structure.gif

    Client can simple add the text contents and use Bold, italic etc to decorate it … add featured images and they should display as shown in the image.

    Problems:

    • How to add an option to add more than 1 featured image to a post.
    • How to create an structure such a structure to make it easy for the client to manage it.

    I will be very thankful if you friends can please guide me at your earliest.

  • Hi you can use main image (big image) as featured image and for rest of the images you can use image attachments

    I think this will solve the problem. To add other images which must be in the post but not to be displayed in the thumbnails you can upload those images from media library directly and not from image upload button in post!

    Hi kuldeepd,

    I can use but my client can not, the post page would include DIVs and other tags
