I’m building a site and have been adding custom post types and other admin functions to my functions.php file and all was working great.

Then I received an error when I wen to access the custom menu page. This is a bug I’ve encountered before and because I’m just building the core functionality of the site at the moment there is no real data, so I just deleted the DB tables and set it up again.

But now (after a couple of total database deletions) my custom post types no longer appear in the custom menu page. I have no idea what could be causing this as all of the data has been deleted, why is this persisting?

I’ve checked the files that I’ve been working on, commented out each section to check to see if they return, but nothing.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

More information. I don’t have any plugins installed. All the code is mine and was working before.

    Well colour me moronic!

OK, don’t know why, but before I didn’t have to enable them in the Screen Options menu, I don’t know why but I do now.

You know how you’re just staring so deeply into code that you miss what’s right in front of you? Yeah, well, that happened.
