Customizr Upgrade kills my slider

  • After upgrading to Customizr 3.0.14 from 3.0.13 my front page slider stops working. The initial slide is shown but the slideshow doesn’t start. If I click on one of the slider nav icons for next slide or previous slide the slideshow will start and run normally. Navigating away from my home page and back again causes the slideshow to stop functioning, it simply displays the initial image and the slide show does not start unless I once again click on one of the slide nav icons.

    I am unable to post a link to the site as it is a corporate intranet site and unaccessable from outside our own network.

  • Mine also does not slide. And the three images at the bottom don’t pan out either. Restored from a previous version and it worked again. Must be the update that broke it.

    Same thing happen for me.
    It does not slide and featured image animation don’t work.
    Do you have error in browser dev tools ?

    Did you try to refresh your cache?

    Yes this the first thing i try before post here.

    In the past there has been similar problems due to plugins and widgets. A couple that have been referenced:
    – WP deferred Javascript
    – Google Maps Widget

    Usual recommendation: disable all your plugins, test. If Ok, then add plugins one-by-one until you find the culprit.

    Let us know if this is the solution…

    Ok, the update works fine when I use Google Chrome, but the slider breaks when I use iexplorer 11. I cleared my cache and deactivated plugins and no joy. The only way to get the slider to slide in iexplorer 11 is to click on one of the slider’s nav icons.

    I’ve now tried the 3.0.14 upgrade with IE 9 and IE 10 and the slider does not work correctly in either one.
