Something wrong with search

  • Hi,

    I just finished my website and I’m testing. When I search, for example “spielen” or “futter” (it’s a Germen site), I get everything in the result, pictures, videos, aricles… It is quite messy. And on top, the search field get’s doubled.

    How can I organize the search result, only bring pages and articles and don’t double the search entry field?

    Unfortunately not. I tried this and 3 others. None of them worked. Normally they search posts or categories. I need a widget, that searches posts and pages. Or a widget, that searches everything but output only posts and pages and maybe videos.

    This is a general WordPress query, not a Customizr one, I think. A quick google gives this, which seems to show you how to do it.

    Oh, I did not know that. I have never seen pictures in search results before. Thank you for the link. I also thing, it will do. You are very helpful.
