customizr no search on startpage

Hi,

I miss the search input field on the startpage, when there are no side columns. That’s why I tried to add it as widget to the footer. But only this widget is not shown on the startpage. On every other page yes.

I even would prefer to have the search field in the header, visible all the time or at least on the start page. Is that possible?
