Customizr Featured image not showing on page

  • I have a couple of questions regarding the customizr theme:

    1) I have added a featured image to one of my pages. I have set this page to be a featured page on my homepage. The picture shows up in the circle on the homepage, but when I click on the article, no picture. I have featured images set up on my posts, and the picture shows up on the actual post. I must be missing a setting or something.

    2) Why am I not able to size an image from within wordpress itself, using the customizr theme?

    3) On the posts, when the featured image does show on the actual post, the images are distorted. The instructions show 270×250 as the image size for the thumbnail, but then on the post itself, you are able to choose to have the picture the full width of the post, and then the image becomes distorted.

    I didn’t quite understand why featured images don’t show up on pages but they do on posts? Can you explain to me further?

    I have a similar issue. I cannot see featured images on my posts page at all. There is just text and it looks ugly. I would like to have it similar to https://lifewithlisae.com/category/blog/

    When I contacted customizr by email I received a reply “…we can provide in-depth assistance …” and was redirected to a Premium Support Job on this page, where of course I will have to pay…. not very happy about that

    I don’t see any issue with your featured image.

    This is not my site. I found the specifc website on the forum and wanted to show you what I meant.
    My site is still under construction and I have a password to log in. I tried other themes and featured images display fine… Maybe it is a glitch with Customizr.

    The website that you mention as an example is using Customizr Theme.

    Featured images are working properly on this site.
    It’s not using the “purchased version”.

    Customizr theme is Free on www.remarpro.com

    You can check whether you had enabled featured image in post.
    Go to Appearance -> Customize -> Content -> Single posts
    Find the setting -> Post thumbnail position
    Select the position that your require, by default it’s set to “Don’t display”.

    I changed it but it still is the same. I would like the thumbnails to appear on the post page and not on the single page. It works fine on the single page.
    I will change the host in the next days. I will see if the issue insists and will let you know.

    I was looking around and finaly found it under

    Customizing ? Content : home, posts, … > Post lists : blog, archives, .. and ticked Display the post thumbnails

    But now I am facing another thing: I can see featured images on my post page but not text ot the post just if I hover the mouse. Does not look bad… but would prefer to have some of the text. I even went to Customizing ? Content : home, posts, …
    Post lists : blog, archives, … and chose Select the length of posts in lists (home, search, archives, …) as Display the ecerpt…. still nothing.

    I’m going to have to create a new child-theme since the coding change would be too much work than it’s worth.
