Customizing WP Admin Menus

  • Hello,

    I would like to request/suggest that in a future upgrade to WordPress, there could be some way of editing/organizing the many admin menus that accumulate by default, and from various installed plugins.

    Currently I am using the ‘Admin Menu Editor’ plugin by Janis Elsts to make my WP admin dashboard menus appear in the order I would like them to show, as well as hiding and moving some of the menus as well.

    This helps me keep everything organized and less capable of overwhelming myself when working on a new post or page, etc.

    I would like to use the least amount of plugins possible however, so it would be great if there was some sort of function that enables you to do this within WordPress itself.
