Why would you need read more in full content?

Using excerpt is too short to explain enough summary of posts.
I want to help my-site visitors’ understanding what is written in posts, when they
see the Homepage.

For example,
different posts are same excerpt.(same sentence to excerpt part.)
as of setting small size (width 300px) thumbnail image, but some of posts compose mainly to show images instead of texts, i want to show big size image in Homepage. and so on.
adding in using Japanese text, Many people feel dryly the excerpt.

I’ve just found why in case of full content with more-link to Japanese(さらに???)

So maybe supernova partly use wordpress core file:post-template.php in wp-includes folder, so wordpress core files use jp.po files in core as below.

#: wp-includes/post-template.php:186
msgid "(more…)"
msgstr "(さらに…)"

so if i want to change (さらに…) , i input another text in msgstr.
but is it best solution ? is there more better solution? i don’t know.

Option to extend the number of words can be added.

i Know the option to extend the number of words of excerpt.
but the option changes these number of all of posts, isn’t it?
(If there is plugin regarding control these numbers on each post, as of Japanese is 2 byte language, maybe very difficult to setting these numbers.)

so if i control these numbers of each post, i know to use dashboard > Post > edit post > [excerpt] by copy and paste that want to use excerpt part of full content.
but this solution doesn’t create automatically link to full content of the post and not be able to use more tag. so i have to create the link every time.

so if i can use [full content]with[more tag] it is very easy.

I resolved.

if i choice excerpt to write the post from the first time, and same time, select excerpt option and use the [excerpt] in edit post.(in the case, no use more tag in full content), i was able to display read more in excerpt.

uuuuuuu it is very troublesome……change all past posts….
but my failure.
so much sorry!!!
