Customizing the Comment Submit button

Hello all,
I have read how this code in the css file will alter the appearance of the search button:
#menu li form input{
background-color: #000000;
color:#ffffff;
}
I would love to do the same for the submit comment button. I just can’t figure out how to go about it – it seems to work on a different princuple to tyhe search button… (I know very little when it comes to php…)
