customizing the blog title

  • Hello,

    On my home page, I have the main title and an excerpt.

    I’d like to know if I can add another field so I have some text above the main title.

    Here’s an example (it’s not my site, obviously)

    See where it says ‘cutting edge. purpose-driven’. I’d like to add a small bit of text like that above the main heading and excerpt.

    Just adding a bit more context. I know the headline widget and/or hero widget from SiteOrigin would achieve this effect. But I would like to use this alongside the transparent header (which I believe can’t be used with a headline or hero widget).
