• I want to add a background image to the theme I’m using – the style sheet doesn’t have anything about the background. What other ways are there for making this change.

I would also like to revise the header font that’s showing on the front page and don’t know how.

Finally, the slider this theme uses has a color block for the text, it is BRIGHT orange and I would like to change it to something more subdued.

    Any advice? Help?

Have you tried looking in Appearance -> Background?

Yes, I tried that…there are theme options but not one for changing the background ??

Not theme option. It should be a separate Background menu item in the Appearance sub-menu. The theme is adding the background image via CSS in the <head> of each page (probably via its functions.php file) – which normally means that it has implemented the custom background option.

I have to leave right now but I’ll explore this when I get back tonight. I don’t see any reference to the background in the appearance sub menu.

I did however just receive an email from the theme developer – it looks detailed…I’ll see what happens next when I have time to try it out tonight (darn it I wish I didn’t have to go now).

    Thanks for your help…
