I want the widget and category title customization to look like that of the trending posts and latest post from the screenshot above.
The trending post title was customized with page builder
I’d like my category and widget title areas to be like that too

Try this CSS:

.sidebar .widget .widget-title {
    background-color: #006400;
    color: #fff;
}

did’nt work though. the code is .sidebar .widget .widget-title is highlighted on red, meaning its not recognized.

What do you mean by category? What element should I be looking at?
