customizing Neve theme blog feed page

I am trying to find out how to customize the layout of the (automatically generated) ‘blog feed’ page(s) with the Neve theme. In particular:

1.- increase the width of the content (reduce horiztal padding/margins)
2.- increase the number of words/lines in the excerpt snippet shown beneath each title.

These can both be changed easily in ‘normal’ pages & blog posts.

There is a support forum for Neve – but it is hosted on Facebook – I am not on facebook – hence posting the question here.
