Customizing Lovecraft theme

Hello,

I have just transferred my wordpress web-site to my host ( dreamhost ) by up-loading wordpress, then Lovecraft followed by my files. However, when I seek to customize the appearance of my site, to make it like it was before, I am not presented with the same options. So e.g. I can change ‘colour’ but only ‘aspect’, whereas before there were optional colourways open to me. I am not presented with a way to easily customize font. I did these things before when I was developing the web-site on wordpress.com and achieved the result I wnated. Why can’t I do them now please?
