• I am using the Impact 2.0 theme and like it very much. There are a couple little customizations that I have not been able to resolve, however.

If you look at the site you’ll see the dark/black area with the site name (eCache). I added a graphic to this area. Is there any way to center the graphic vertically? It appears a bit toward the top.

The theme places the tagline (commentary from south jersey) in a lighter gray area. Originally, this was just a thin area. I have added a cloud to this which has expanded the it. I like the cloud. The “issue” is that the tagline kind of gets lost in there. I guess what I would like to do is move that up to the darker area with the site name and graphic. The tagline will need to have its font color changed as it will not display with the darker background.

So, how can I re-design the header part of the page to display the site name (perfect the way it is), the tagline (font color change and placed next to/near the site name), and vertically-align the graphic?

I know I need to modify header.php. I just do not know how to produce the above.

I appreciate any assistance you can offer.

  • I believe you can fix the image with a css tag such as “text-align: center” or maybe by using a div such as < div align=”center” > < /div >. You could use https://www.w3schools.com for other css tags that may help.

I’m also having trouble with my site: OC SEO Expert, where the page links aren’t working. I checked my .htaccess and my permalink code and both look correct. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Steve
