CUSTOMIZING HEADERS – in Autofocus theme

  • Hello,

    I’m new to wordpress and web development. I’ve recently created a website for my journalism class. It will mainly be used as a blog/portfolio of my writing, photography and video.

    I found the wp theme Autofocus. I really love these layout. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to customize anything on it! Specifically the header and the navigation bar. I’m not very familiar with PHP, more familiar with html.

    On the designers website he said he does not support customization, but he will help with bugs. Do I assume it’s not even possible to customize? Here is his site, https://allancole.com/wordpress/

  • It’s certainly possible to customize. I’ve been using that theme, and have customized it just a bit. That said, it does seem to be slightly harder to customize than some of the other themes I’ve played with.

    If you post more specific questions about what you would like to change, you’ll probably get better answers.
