Customizing FeedWordPress

Hello,

I just installed FeedWordPress and I am struggling to do some basic customization. I am not a programmer or anything but I can find my way around very basic code.

I read the documentation that is given with FeedWordPress about customizing the output but it’s like Chinese to me. I don’t understand anything.

Basically what I want to do is in the post created from the feed, instead of having the post title going to the original post, I want it to go to the URL of this post on my blog.

I also would like to add a “Source: XYZ.com” with the link to the original post.

Last, I would like to remove the horizontal line after each post. I looked for the HTML tag <hr> in the plugin to remove it but I couldn’t find it.

I looked around and found some info in the forum about what I want to do but the way it’s explained is too complicated for me to understand.

Is there someone that could simply tell me “remove this and add that” or something that simple…
