I just noticed this since the latest update to WPPA+. When I go to APPEARANCE -> CUSTOMIZE I get this following page:

Edit widget: WPPA+ Upload Photos Edit Add WPPA+ Upload Photos
    WPPA+ Upload Photos

    Title:
    Upload Photos

I’m using the Twenty Sixteen Theme. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Leta

I get a similar thing when I go to appearance>widgets>manage with live preview.

I’m using twenty seventeen as the theme.

Thanks for replying, I am using twenty sixteen child theme. I cant even change themes. I have a large album going on. I was thinking because we have such a large albums 2255 that is maybe we broke it. My widgets is broke as well. We sure would like to get this issue fixed.

I’m hoping it isn’t album/photo count (I’ve 12K albums with 53K photos). I tested with a subset and it worked fine, I’m now sandboxing with the full complement of albums, but there was a wppa update between my tests.

Hopefully Jacob will find a bug in the latest version once he gets back from his vacation.

Updating to WP 4.9 and the themes updates doesn’t seem to have made a difference.

Can anyone tell me exactly how to reproduce this?
What steps do i have to make, and, what widgets should be on the page or does this not matter? I tested 3 of my (dev)sites but can not reproduce this.
Maybe a screenshot of the issue will help?

    I click on Appearance–> Customize
    That’s when this happens:

That is exactly what I am seeing.

    Our Plugins are:

    Admin Columns

Another WordPress Classifieds Plugin (AWPCP) (inactive)
    Capability Manager Enhanced
    Font Awesome Integration

This is what I get if I try to manage widgets with LIVE preview.

I actually did not have Updraft installed when this started, I only installed Updraft a few days ago.

What version of php and OS are you running?

    Mine is:
WordPress 4.9 running Twenty Seventeen theme.
    Running PHP version: 7.0.22-0ubuntu0.16.04.1

(via the “Display PHP Version” plugin I just added.)

Please make the wp debug switch working:

edit wp-config.php and change define( 'WP_DEBUG', false ); into define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );, or add define( 'WP_DEBUG', true ); somewhere near the top if this define() is not there at all.

This will maybe get errormessages displayd; i want to know them.

Alternatively, check the server error log on fatal errors generated by wppa.

    jagwaugh

    (@jagwaugh)

    Done. I get:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 1073741824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 528384 bytes) in /var/www/jag-lovers.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/wppa-utils.php on line 514

This after widgets, manage with live preview.

What I don’t understand is why changing a theme would evaluate the list of albums.

And if the OOM message on my system _were_ because evaluating the list of albums, then I would expect to see the same error when I use “Manage Albums” (Since there we do need to enumerate the list of albums).

This is what I get when clicking on the customizer

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/labordayassoc/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-photo-album-plus/wppa-items.php on line 90
