Customizer not saving any changes

Yesterday, I went into my customizer to update the static slider image and the buttons on my homepage. I hit save and publish and then when I go to the homepage the changes haven’t been made. When I try to exit the customizer and it asks me if I’m sure I want to leave the page because changes haven’t been made. It’s been a couple weeks since I updated the homepage so I don’t know how long it’s been going on.
