customizer header not applied

So I go thru the customizer finally and set everything up. I get the beautiful header with great background picture just like in my elementor pages showing in the header of customizer. Get it exactly like I want it.

Add a new page and what do I get but plain old boring header instead of the one I published in the customizer.

So how do I get the customizer header to apply to a new page in the regular editor?
This is the kind of stuff that is making me bald.
