    Hello,

Is there any way to use RPC to invoke code from within the customizer? I installed the File Changes Monitor plugin a few days ago, and I had an alert this morning that at 5:50AM there was an error log file change:

[21-Jun-2019 10:53:30 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Class 'WP_Customize_Image_Control' not found in /home/public_html/wp-includes/customize/class-wp-customize-header-image-control.php on line 17

There were no “Admins” logged on at that hour, so I don’t know how there could be an error invoked by the customizer?

    Thanks!
    James

This might just be someone hitting the file to look for vulnerabilities. By someone I mean a bot. And by hitting I mean going to the file directly in their browser. When accessing files directly, you end up with functions being undefined because it’s not being handled by WordPress and this is expected.

    Hi Andrew,

Okay, that makes sense to me. Thanks for the fast reply!
