Customizer bug (related to Kirki cache?)

  • I basically have two issues with customizer – which might be related.

    1) Color overlay is not working. I set a color, see a live preview, try to publish changes, close customizer, but this particular change does not apply. When I click on customizer again, color overlay is applied to customizer preview (it’s probably cached, based on wp_options and wp_post tables).
    2) Publish is always active, even if I try to discard changes.

    I did some modifications to the theme, so I thought that I broke it up. I decided to completely wipe server and database and install WP from scratch. I’m using completely clean WP 4.9.6 and Mesmerize 1.2.2 and those bugs still occur.

  • I have this same issues. Publish is always active but doesn’t save any of my changes. None. Not a single thing. It’s really sad because I love the look of this theme and if it’s functionality worked properly, it would be ideal. But, I have to go find another one. I hope they get it fixed.
