Very good, but needs better setup instructions

I am using version 6.1.3 and would like to give it a 5 star rating as I did for an earlier version. But I can’t because of inadequate setup documentation. I managed to resolve the myriad of issues I had in setting up this version by trial and error. To his great credit, my support call was answered by the developer long past his normal working hours, but by then I had resolved the major issues and his help I fixed the others. The plugin is now working very well.
What was not clear from such support information as there was, was that there are two different ways of setting up the plugin. One way is as a dedicated support system that users must register with and then login to use it. The other way allows guest users, so there is no login/registration required. I wanted the latter as I am using the plugin on a membership website and members must already be logged in to open a support ticket.
The downside of the guest login is that messages cannot be customised with the member’s name. It is not the most important thing, but maybe it can be added to the wish list.
With clearer and better setup instructions/documentation, I would have gladly given a five star rating.
