    Hello everyone,

    I’m working with a minamaze child theme. I have created a customized sidebar with a plugin and although I follow all steps, the sidebar doesn’t appear on the page I want it. What I’ve done is the following:

    1. I created a child theme days ago which I’ve been customizing
    2. Downloaded and activated Simple Page Sidebars plugin
    3. Went to the specific page and entered the name of the side bar I want to create
    4. Went to widgets and amended the mentioned sidebar
    5. Saved all changes in each step

    Can anyone help me, please? I’ve tried serveral things but nothing seems to work.

    Thanks and Kind Regards, A.

    Have you tried it on another Theme, to know if the Plugin is working well.
    Try to create custom template and see what happens to the side bar

    <?php
    /*
     Template Name: Page With Sidebar
     */
    get_header(); ?>
    <?php //get_sidebar(); ?>
    <?php get_footer(); ?>

    Hello,

    No, I haven’t tried with another theme yet. When I change it back to the current theme, everything I have changed will be kept right? I’m a bit scared as you can see.

    Am I going to see straight away in the new theme if the sidebar appears or I will have to do some amends? I had a look at Theme Live Preview and some sidebar appears (I guess because they are sorted as a Blog and not Static Page)?

    Thank you so much, really! Alexandra
