Customized homepage, weblogsection and pages

    Hi,

    I can’t seem to figure out the following:

    I want a customized homepage with the latest weblogpost, I want the default weblog section with the 10 latest weblogposts (not as a homepage) and I want pages.

    I want to solve this bij using the ‘home.php’ template, but how do I render the ‘index.php’ as my blog overview (It would be nice if I can show the blog on a ‘/weblog’ url).

    How do I accomplish these things in WordPress?

    With the approach above – you cannot!
    If you have 2.1 – it’s built in. Otherwise you’ll need a plugin.

    How is this built in in 2.1? How can I, with 2.1, build a customized homepage (with the 1 most recent post) and keep the weblog with 10 posts and pages intact?

    See the Options > Reading section of the admin panel.
    I admit, you’ll have to tweak a bit the Page template for the frontpage.
