• Hi all,
I’m new to WordPress, and downloaded the program for the first time on Tuesday. I have since reinstalled it 3 times in an attempt to eradicate the problems I’m experiencing to no avail.

My first problem occurred before I downloaded any additional themes or plugins, and has persisted throughout my use. In the customize section of the theme tab in ‘appearance’, I have a blank white page where the theme template should be. This also occurs whenever I attempt to ‘live preview’ a theme.

My next problem occurs in my site functionality, as I am unable to view any other pages but my home page (the domain name that I have registered). When I try and preview pages that I created, it shows an “Oops, this page cannot be display.” sort of message, while still maintaining my theme and header image.

I had downloaded multiple themes, as I didn’t know that they carried malware, but have since deleted all but the one I am using for my site. As I said though, the problems with my admin page had existed before I downloaded anything.

If it is relevant, I am running on Mac OS 10.5.8, and as a result am running on Firefox verson 3.5.2. I don’t know if that could be the perpetrator, but these are the facts.

I hope somebody can help, as I would very much like to have the site up and running by mid-week.

Apologies for the attempted bump, as I said, I am new to this whole blogosphere.

I would very much appreciate any help that can be given for my problems. From what I can obtain from scouring the boards, the Internal Service Error is more a problem with the server and not WordPress, however, I am still unable to view any other pages that I create through the admin page, and also when I click the stock “Sample Page” that came with the theme, it didn’t work.

I am most concerned with the ‘customize’ feature not working, as seeing as how I am a novice at designing, that appeared to be the most interactive of the options.

    Thanks for your time

You must contact your web hosting company regarding the Internal Server Error first.
