Customize what info user enters while registering for the website.

Is there any way we can customize data a user enters when site registration.

Say for example, I want user to be able to enter an author-bio (yeah, I’m talking about those in WordPress user profile) when they register for my website.

Similarly, I want more information for a user to be able to enter when they sign up. It can even be their social network usernames.

WordPress allows these things to be added once the account is created through profile tab. Is there any way we can add this to login page?
