Customize Trigger Text

    I would like to be able to customize the trigger text for this plug. i.e. solid background box with customizable settings (size of BG box, color, etc). Should I use css coding for this, or I also considered designing the trigger text as an image in photoshop since I can then create the look I exactly want for my trigger text.

    Also, I use elementor to build my site. I’ve inserted my shortcode into a text editor widget within a section. Is this the recommended method for inserting Collapse-O-Matic short code in my site ?

    To customize the look of the trigger text, it’s best to use CSS.
    You can either define the global .collapseomatic class, or define different classes and assign them using the trigclass attribute.

    You could also use an image as a trigger, but this is not recommended, as it reduces the SEO effectiveness of your site.

    The shortcode within a text editor widget should be fine. If you have a choice use the text widget in TEXT or HTML mode (not visual).
