Customize the Source

    requesting functionality to assign the Source that lands in Constant Contact for this email address. “Other app” is way too generic. Source should be identifiable by the Form Name or customizable with a field in the Form itself. at the very least, a generic “WordPress plugin” would be better than “Other app” but again, Source should equal the Form itself — a website might have 40 Forms, they each need tracking.

    Just wanting to check and confirm quick, is this regarding what get’s shown and seen when you log into constantcontact.com itself? Or is it part of the plugin UI in your WP admin area that I’m drawing blank on for what may mention “Other app”.

    In Constant Contact itself, the Source for all form-driven email acquisition says “Other app”

    Hello again, I am told it’s definitely something desired to be changed on constantcontact.com’s end. However, there are some restrictions that are preventing it from happening at the moment, so for the moment, it will have to remain as “Other app”. Hopefully in the future we can get it more customized.
