customize the Header Image size (bigger) to display max width? 2014 Theme

  • I am using the Twenty Fourteen (child theme)
    I have my site header setting at max-width 100%, but when I insert the header image it is positioned all the way to the left side of the screen. Can I center this header image?

    I also would like to change the size of the default header image and make it bigger to fit the max width of the header when displayed on a wide screen cpu.
    How would I create a custom header?
