'Customize' page not working

    I had to do a manual update of wordpress the other day because Make seems to give me issues with updating WordPress and a couple of plugins (e.g. WP SlimStat). I noticed afterwards that the background colour on the site (www.rosewoods.co.uk) had changed from black to grey. I went to the ‘Customize’ page under ‘Appearance’ but the page just loads to a blank grey page (screenshot here: https://imgur.com/IKnbmfG). In the tab title it says it’s loading but I get nothing. Any ideas how I can get the customizer back to I can put the site back the way it was?

    Unfortunately I am experiencing the same problem as these guys. The customisation page will not load. I have tried so many things:
    – moved over to firefox
    – updated my PHP version in cPanel – now version 7.
    – deactivated all of my plugins etc.
    – tried using different theme (all themes have the same problem)

    It was working fine for me a couple of days ago but it just suddenly broke and I don’t know how to fix it.

    It sounds like it is an issue with your web host. I would recommend contacting their support team to try and get it sorted out.

    Your best bet is to contact the developer of the theme you’re using. ??

    This forum is for the Make theme, specifically.

    @ Melissa I have and they have even tried all they could and now they are advising me to change hosting company, please do you think shared hosting account meant to be the cause of this problem?

    Because this forum is for the Make theme specifically, if your theme developer won’t help you, you’ll need to request support in the Troubleshooting forum for this issue.

    My customize page isn’t working either. It was working until about 3 weeks ago, then nothing. I have contacted my host and they can’t see the problem from their end. I have tried a different server, still doesn’t work.

    If you ask me any of the coding questions, I don’t know! I don’t look in the back door. All I know is it isn’t working right.

    All I’m trying to do is look at a new menu before I put it on my site and possibly a new theme.

    The customize page is not working for me either. I can make changes but it will not save any of them. I click on save and publish and it spins but then when I try to leave the page it says none of my changes will be saved. And they aren’t. No plugins, brand new install of WordPress and Make. Everything updated. Isn’t there a way you can fix this without all of us having to change our hosts (if that is the problem)? I would really appreciate some specific suggestions on what to do next. Thanks!
