    Hi Vlado!

    Happy New Year!

Question: How can I change the restricted page text message for example the text “Your access to this page expired or you haven’t bought products needed to access this page. Buy….”

I tried updating the page_restrict_domain.pot file in the languages directory but that did not seem to work.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Happy New Year to you too!
Regarding your question, I’m not able to check but it seems from the text that that should be possible with the Page submenu under Page Restrict main wp menu or with the actual page options on the right sidebar under Gutenberg. You can find instructions in the Quick Start menu page under Page Restrict menu if I wasn’t clear. The majority of what my plugin can do should be explained there.

Thanks for the quick responding, I looked at the Gutenberg side panel https://ibb.co/K2W4rgJ and also the General and Page level settings in the Page Restrict Plugin and don’t see a place where I can override the not bought text “Your access to this page expired or you haven’t bought products needed to access this page. Buy….”

Is there another place or code to look at or am I missing something obvious here?

    Thanks

Its in your screenshot. Please read the Quick Start page. Are you saying you tried them and it didn’t work?

Ah I think I see what you mean. I can create a custom page with whatever message/text/content I want to show and then set the redirect on bought to that custom page.

I guess I am asking if there’s any way to directly change that default message being shown, as I have over 50 pages that are restricted to 50 unique products – if I used the method above – that would mean I would have to create 50 separate pages with “you have not bought X product” and then set the redirect. That seems like too much overhead, instead if I could just change the default message shown (which already conveniently includes the not bought product names) that would be much easier to implement.

    Does that make sense?

Yes I see what you mean. I thought about that before and I’ll check and get back to you later. From what I could quickly check there isn’t a way to do it with translation files either. So no way currently to do what you want as far as I know at the moment.

Got it and understood, thanks for letting me know!

    Hi,
your use case was simple enough for me to implement so I added the prwc_restricted_pages_products shortcode which outputs links to the products needed to access the page. So just add [prwc_restricted_pages_products]

That’s awesome! thanks for developing this feature. much appreciated.

    [prwc_restricted_pages_products]

Is it possible to set this short code to display associated product achrive like this?https://ibb.co/gM7TyHq

No. Only products that are needed for the user to unlock the page.
