Hello,

I am currently working on updating a company site using a stagecoach staging site. I am using the Sela Theme with the Jetpack plug-in.

I am having a hard time customizing the mobile site for smartphones. Tablets looks great, however, the featured images are not showing on phones. As we sell a product, we would like to have a picture displayed on the homepage (and preferably all pages) when users view our site on phones.

Can someone help me with this? I have read through several forums, and cannot find any option to further configure the mobile optimization through jetpack. I have un-checked the “hide featured images” option under mobile settings.

Since this site’s theme is already responsive, the Jetpack Mobile Theme is not necessary.

Can you try disabling that here?

Then, clear your browser’s cache:

Afterwards, if you are still having a problem, let us know, and we can take the next troubleshooting step, once we get more feedback.

Yes, I have disabled the Jetpack Mobile Theme. The only issue I am having on the Sela mobile theme is adjusting the position of the overlay text that is over the featured image in the desktop site. On the mobile site it puts this text underneath the featured image, which is fine and looks great. Only problem is that it is left aligned. Is there CSS I can add to center align this content underneath the featured image on the mobile site?

@getajobkit as this is more like a theme-related question rather than a Jetpack query, I suggest you to check on the Sela questions on the forum:

You can add any CSS useful snippets to your theme stylesheet, or to your custom CSS editor available under Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS in your dashboard.
