Customize home page

  • Hello! So I realize the home page can be accesed and customized through going to apperance > themes > customize > templates > home.

    I am wondering how do I get this in the pages section of wordpress instead? I create a page called home but its not the “home” page for the website.

    Please advise.

    Templates can not be accessed through pages. If you’d like to have one of your pages as the homepage, you can set it from Settings-> Reading-> Your homepage displays-> Choose the static page.
