Customize Global Translator: Add text next to flag? Drop down menu?

  • First of all…thanks for this great plugin!

    For those CSS/html experts out there, I’d like to ask for some help regarding this Global Translator plugin. The flag setup looks great, but I’d like to know if someone could guide me with inserting TEXT next to each flag.
    IE: if it is Spanish, then I’d like to have the text for “Spanish” right next to the flag (flag from Spain). Or “Russian” and the flag from Russia to the side. Same goes with all of the other flags.

    A different customization I also thought of was:
    How would I be able to have that same idea (language text next to the flag as explained above), but all of the languages would be within a drop-down menu. I’d like to find out how to customize these features, yet maintaining the same performance which includes the SEO, CACHE, etc.
