Customize email template for custom messages

  • Hi Nate, me again! This time I was wondering if there’s a way to customize the email template when I, as an administrator, send a message to the person who made the reservation, as I can do it for the other emails.

    There’s only the setting to change the subject now, so I think that there may be no way on this version, but I ask you just in case there is and I’m missing it.

    There’s no stock message for the Send Message feature, so there’s no template to modify. I don’t have any plans to introduce a stock message for that feature, sorry.

    Thanks for your response Nate.

    That’s too bad, because since any change on the reservation once it’s Confirmed or Closed needs to be notified by the Send Message feature (as we spoke about in the other thread), it’s a shame that that email has to be plain text with no option to customize it. It feels out of place and unprofessional if you’re using a custom design on the other email notifications.

    It’ll be great if you consider to change it in the future, or at least adding another way to contact the customer inside the plugin to let him now of any changes, using the same email template for all of the notifications. See you!

    If you’re just worried about the overall email design, you can take a look at my Email Templates addon. It offers a few HTML email templates and wraps each email in them, including the send message one.
